The Grave of Barog, found in Barog Village in the Solan district of Himachal Pradesh, tells a poignant story from history. In the 20th century, Colonel Barog started building the narrow-gauge Kalka-Shimla Railway tunnel. Unfortunately, due to miscalculations, the ends of the tunnel did not connect, resulting in his disgrace and a fine from the British Government.
